Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director most well-known as the main character of Birdman. The versatile actor is equally proficient in both comedy and dramatic. He has also portrayed some romantic characters as well as appeared in several action thrillers during his professional career. He began to take an interest in performing and acting while he was in his teens and tried his luck at stand-up comedy while an adult. Although his comedy career was not successful but it laid the groundwork for his future acting career. In the end, despite not being a successful comedian and adolescent, he started working for an satellite station as a TV crew participant. The job at the station was where he discovered that he truly wanted to appear on camera. Then he landed a TV role, appearing in many episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood.
